I see you have a switcher as well, do you need a switcher to bypass HDCP? Also you say the splitter goes to the TV and the capture card, do they go into the output ports and the input port back to.. Just curious about the setup….

The Amazon page linked in the description says 1. No display from HDMI either. Is it just my PS3 or did I buy the wrong version which you linked?
I plug it in and all i get on my capture window is a black screen and my tv flashes. I have gotten it to work by messing with the order if when and how i plus things in but thats not how it should be. No guide on the entire internet says how to diagnose this issue. And if you dont know the answer dont respond, i dont need anyone giving me a false solution.
Do not use HDMI splitters to bypass copy protection. Damn it! What should I do? I bought V viewHD arrives in 2 days i hope finaly a splitter that works i dont get why i need to buh and return 10 different splitters to find 1 that works and they all look like the same model. I am looking for highest video fidelity possible. I run multiple screens off my pc. I watch the streaming tv on the tv screen but I need my other monitor on for everything else. Apparently youtube tv is cutting off outputs to any non compliant digital outputs.
Is there any way to perform this stripping for the div signal? Maybe convert to hdmi, the strip, then back to dvi if nothing else? What do you mean component cables max out at i? I can get p out of my PS3 without issues through component. I know you said to get 1. D out of the two. I can conform it works we brought one.

I ordered from the same seller in the video, the only difference is the title listed version 1. The box it came in confirmed version 1. So to me this possibly means that the version without HDCP is possibly the 1.
